Saburoku Company, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) shall comply with the laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information when handling customer’s personal information, and shall establish and implement the following privacy policy to ensure its execution and maintenance.

Article 1: Definition of Personal Information 

In this policy, personal information refers to information that can identify an individual, including our customers, business partners, employees, and others. Identifiable personal information includes, but is not limited to, name, age, date of birth, telephone number, email address, address, workplace, and any combination of these details that can identify a specific individual.

Article 2: Collection and Use of Personal Information 

Collection and use of personal information will be conducted only to the extent necessary for providing our services and carrying out our business operations, and will be done in an appropriate manner. The purposes of use are as follows. If we need to obtain personal information for purposes not specified here, we will clearly state the purpose at the time of collection.

  1. As a business authorized to operate a rental car service, to fulfill obligations required as a condition of our business license, such as creating rental agreements at the time of contract execution.
  2. To verify the identity of customers when providing rental cars and related services.
  3. To inform customers about the products and services handled by our company, as well as various events and campaigns, via methods such as email.
  4. To conduct surveys with customers for the purpose of planning and developing products and services handled by our company, or to consider measures to improve customer satisfaction.
  5. To compile and analyze personal information statistically, and to create statistical data that is processed into a form that cannot identify or specify individuals.

Article 3: Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

We will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent, except in the following cases:

  1. When required by law.
  2. When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent.
  3. When it is especially necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer or the information subject.
  4. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, a local public body, or an entity entrusted by them in executing the affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the customer’s consent may impede the execution of such affairs.

Article 4: Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information

In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, if we receive a request from a customer to disclose, correct, suspend the use of, or delete their personal information, we will promptly respond after verifying that the request is made by the individual themselves.

Article 5: Revisions to the Privacy Policy

In response to changes in societal conditions, advancements in technology, revisions to privacy laws, etc., our company may revise the contents of the privacy policy without prior notice.
